COVID-19 Safety Precautions

We have not gathered in-person as a church for over 3 months due to COVID-19. It is with great joy that I get to announce we will begin regathering on Sunday, June 28th, and gradually work towards getting back to normal as quickly as we safely can. Below is a list of what to expect on June 28th and things you need to know before we get back on campus. Please read the following carefully:

  1. Masks will be mandatory per the mandate put in place in Palm Beach County. CITG will have masks available if you do not have one. Those on the platform will remove their masks while on the platform but put them back on as soon as they come off.

  2. The ushers will have infrared thermometers that will alert us if someone has a fever. Anyone running a fever needs to return home and come back when they are feeling better.

  3. There will be NO CITG KIDS: we are working on creating a safe atmosphere for your kids and this takes a lot of careful planning, please be patient with us. CITG Kids will resume as soon as we have all necessary safety precautions in place. In the meantime, kids need to sit with their parents and be with a parent/guardian at all times while on campus.

  4. Seating arrangements: we have designated rows for seating with signs that provide instructions for social distancing and taped off every other row to help in this process. Anyone who comes after all available seats are taken will be redirected to a different location on campus to watch the service LIVE.

  5. Adult Bible study will resume at its regularly scheduled time on June 28th in the LOFT, but will take place in the main area of the LOFT, rather than in a classroom to enable social distancing.

  6. Giving: There will be FOUR Giving Boxes in the Narthex you can drop your tithe/offering in as we will no longer pass offering bags during services for your safety.

  7. There will be NO COFFEE SPOT until further notice. Grab some Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks before or after church until we can safely cluster back into the Fellowship Hall after services.

  8. Bathrooms: We ask that all members sanitize their hands before and after using the restroom. Sanitizing stations are in the Narthex, if you need any help locating them simply ask an usher, they will be happy to take you to them.

Thank you for being faithful in your giving while we have been limited to virtual-only services. Thank you for participating in our virtual-only services, our services have reached further than we could have ever imagined during these last three months. Thank you for being patient with us during this process, we know many of you are eager to get back - we are too, thank you for trusting the leadership at CITG who have truly sought God's wisdom every step of the way in this process. We love you church and we cannot wait to see you and your family on Sunday, June 28th at 10:30am! God bless!

"I was glad when they said unto me: let us go to the house of the Lord!" Psalm 122:1.
